Festival Information

"The most "civilised" and friendly festival I've been to - and for a great cause. Beautiful house and gardens, plenty of space to explore, nice lighting. Great for all ages"

Camping

Campsite opens: 2pm, Thursday 25th August (no access to Arena)
Campsite closes:
midday, Monday 29th August.
NO PETS ALLOWED ON SITE -
sorry!

Ah, camping. Sleeping under canvas in the glorious English countryside. Well that's all well and good, but it had better be somewhere gorgeous.

And vans - gotta have space for camper vans (no additional charge for them, you'll be pleased to hear). Oh and it absolutely must be a really short walk to the site - cos you know when you forget your suncream and then it's a threemile hike back to your tent... it's like a numpty tax, that walk. None of that please. And showers. Lots of lovely hot showers. Nearby. And nice clean toilets.

SoulPad Village

And how about the sheer luxury of having your very own SoulPad tent already waiting for you, set-up, when you arrive? Forget the hassle of dragging a nasty nylon tent miles across the festival site, only to find all the good spots have gone and your tired tent stinks like a rotten old boot anyway....

Purchase

We have a limited number of lovely, brand new SoulPads available for you to purchase, ready-pitched in a prime location in the SoulPad Village. What could be better? Oh! You get to keep your SoulPad at the end of the event....re-sult!

Rent

Newly introduced this year, you can now rent a SoulPad®! The SoulPad 5000-lite™ will comfortably sleep up to five people. It will cost £219 to rent for the duration of the festival. So whether you want to fill your SoulPad® with the maximum five people, or have it all to your royal self, the price is fixed at £219 for the duration. Festinho 2011 is set to cover three nights, with camping available for four nights (from the Thursday). So if you arrive on Thursday and fill it with five friends it works out at just £10.95 per person/per night.

Campsite Areas

Quiet Camping
Like to drift off to the sound of nothing but your partner snoring? Well, quiet camping is the place for you! It’s a separate campsite to main camping, on the opposite side of the festival site, (In an orchard. No, really!).

Main Camping
This is, perhaps unsurprisingly, our main campsite. It will be divided into:

a. Live-In Vehicles
You’ll need a live-in vehicle pass to get in here; bring your reference number with you, along with some ID and follow the directions for live-in vehicles here. Each live-in vehicle will be allocated about 7m x 5m. You can pitch tents by your vehicle but you must not exceed your allocated pitch.

b. Family Camping
If you’ve got little’ uns it might be worth pitching up here! While quiet camping may sound like a great idea if you have a family, please be aware that early rising children are not always all that quiet!

c. General Camping
Not just for generals.

d. Party Camping
We know some of you lot like to carry things on after the entertainment finishes – knitting, playing scrabble, etc. So there’s a special area just for you, so that your late night debates don’t infringe on other campers too much.
We should make it very clear that there is no entertainment in this area after the arena closes, and while you can listen to your own music, please do so quietly; we will ask you to turn it down if it gets too loud.

Please also note: while there will be marked areas for different camping, the main campsite is still pretty small, so please be considerate to your neighbours. Ta!
